DETROIT, MI., – (March 24, 2014) – Detroit Diesel Corporation (Detroit) is showcasing its most innovative solutions at the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS). Visitors to booth #30155 will have the opportunity to explore the complete Detroit brand family, which includes the Detroit™ DT12™ automated manual transmission, Detroit™ axles, Detroit™ engines, and the newest addition to the family – Detroit Connect.
Interactive exhibits, videos and hands-on displays will bring the Detroit experience to life. Show attendees can try out the new On-Board Tablet, which works in tandem with the award-winning Detroit Virtual Technician™ On Board Diagnostic System and Visibility fleet software to contribute to uptime and performance. They can also see a detailed cutaway of the DT12 showcasing the single countershaft, and helical cut gears. There will also be detailed cutaways of the DD15® engine with the proprietary asymmetric turbo and tandem axle with precision cut gears.
Detroit representatives will be onsite to assist with product questions from service to fuel economy to spec’ing.
