LOUISVILLE, Ky. – March 22, 2012 – Detroit Diesel Corporation continues its move to optimize development of vertically integrated powertrain solutions by announcing the re-naming of the Detroit Diesel Genuine Parts brand to simply Detroit Genuine Parts. The former Detroit Diesel reliabilt® brand will be folded into the Detroit Genuine Parts brand as well.

Detroit Genuine Parts will continue to offer a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul options for its engines that will now expand to cover transmissions and axles. The brand’s remanufactured offering includes cylinder heads, water pumps, turbochargers, fuel injectors, diesel particulate filters and complete engines.
