Louisville, Ky. – March 25, 2015 – Alliance Truck Parts, a leading all-makes provider of replacement parts for the commercial transportation industry, has expanded its air hose line to include premium TAPER-Grip air hose grips.  These new grips protect the hose during gladhand connections on the tractor-trailer jumper hose and on the 3-in-1 AirPower line. The 3-in-1 AirPower line includes two air hoses and an ABS-rated 7-way, green electrical cable assembly all factory-covered in a durable spiral wrap.

The TAPER-Grip, which offers a unique rubberized gladhand grip, is color coded for easy identification and also flexes with the air line during tight turns to protect against kinking.  The new grips complement Alliance Truck Parts’ current line of air hoses and are manufactured to meet or exceed OES specifications with innovative features designed to achieve real-world functionality in the harsh trucking environment.

Alliance Tuck Parts is also debuting new Arctic coiled air lines, which are protected with  a special coating that keeps the air line flexible in temperatures as low as -85 degrees Fahrenheit.

“Air and power connections are some of the most frequently replaced parts because of the abuse the lines take from flexing and vibration during transport, and from the constant connection and disconnection at the trailer gladhand,” said Catherine Auckland, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Truck North America. “The new Alliance Truck Parts TAPER-Grips and the Arctic coiled air lines will diminish some of the wear and tear on these lines.”

Alliance TAPER-Grips and Arctic coiled air lines are backed by a 1-year/unlimited-mile nationwide warranty serviceable at over 800 locations including Freightliner, Western Star and Thomas Built Buses dealerships in the U.S. and Canada, and Travel Centers of America and Petro locations nationwide.
