The Road Ahead

Other 03/24/2014

This week we embark on the largest heavy-duty trucking event in the world – the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky. – and we’re excited to showcase our most innovative solutions!

MATS is more than a tradeshow. From face-to-face meetings between industry representatives and trucking professionals, to product launches and important industry announcements, MATS is the place to be if you do any kind of business in the trucking industry.

Visitors to our booth will have an opportunity to explore the complete Detroit brand family, including the Detroit DT12 automated manual transmission, Detroit axles, Detroit engines, and the newest addition to our family – Detroit Connect.

We’ll be featuring the new On-Board Tablet, which works in tandem with the award-winning Detroit Virtual Technician™ On Board Diagnostic System and Visibility fleet software.

MATS gives us the chance to show off a little, and our booth will include interactive exhibits, videos and hands-on displays to help bring the Detroit experience to life. We’ll also have a Ride and Drive Freightliner Cascadia Evolution truck with the DD15 and DT12.

In addition, visitors to our booth will be able to sign up for the Million Mile Club, which is open to U.S. and Canadian fleet owners and drivers with 1 million or more miles on their Detroit engines. Members will receive a variety of perks, as well as exclusive news and updates from Detroit.

We’ll also have a photo booth, where attendees can get their picture snapped and immediately upload it to their social sites – so be on the lookout for some fantastic MATS pictures!

They say it’s common knowledge that if you conduct business in the trucking industry, you have to be at MATS. We hope to see you there, but if you can’t make it be sure to check back for my recap of the show.
