With Detroit Connect Virtual Technician® remote diagnostics service, you can make informed service decisions and discover engine issues before they cause downtime. And when you need assistance, our Detroit Customer Support Center provides a full team of experts that has your back.

How it works:

  • When a truck experiences a fault, Detroit Connect Virtual Technician will automatically notify you via email or the Detroit Connect Portal about the severity of the fault and how to resolve it.
  • If the fault is critical, Virtual Technician will transmit data to the experts at our Detroit Customer Support Center for further analysis and support.
  • Detroit Virtual Technician experts will send a follow-up notification to your fleet outlining the cause of the critical fault event, the recommended parts to fix the problem and the nearest service locations with the right parts in stock.

Viewing information about your trucks has never been easier. With the Detroit Connect portal, you can see the overall health of your fleet – or drill down into specific trucks and fault events – all in one simple, easy-to-use interface.

The Detroit Connect Portal also enables you to see fault trends across your fleet. By analyzing these trends, you can plan for downtime by taking a truck out of service when it’s most convenient and identify an issue before it becomes critical. The Detroit Connect Portal isn’t just a wealth of data at your fingertips. It’s a direct pathway to making smarter service decisions, minimizing downtime and increasing profitability.

Detroit Connect Portal

The Detroit™ Connect portal is easy-to-use, one-stop-shop for all vehicle performance data gathered, transmitted and analyzed by Detroit Connect.  The portal gives you access to insights delivered by  Detroit Connect Virtual Technician℠. The Detroit Connect portal will also give you access to new features, such as Remote Updates, and Analytics, available late 2017.
